simple things

it seems to me, that as we grow older we dont get any wiser [at this stage at least]
this need for knowledge, is not aiding in the process of growing up.
this notion of "growing up" in society's sense, is taking responsibility, having the knowledge to work, and to be able to make intelligent decisions, if not, just decisions.

my idea of growing up. it simply being smart and "wise"enough to know...
- that him/herself, is not as significant as they think they are
- that life, is unfair and fair. unfair for you, and to others [ie, you are both in favour, and out?]
- that not matter how hard you try, not everyone will love/hate you.

simple enough?

can people not see the consequences of their actions?... that was a stupid question =/
baaah.. but small normal things... small casual things are ok, to ruin a friendship.. even IF it wasnt a strong one... that's differnet right?
